AlvoraCrafts began with a simple vision: to preserve the centuries-old artisanal techniques of Udaipur by adapting them into premium, timeless furniture for homes across the world.

Nestled in the "City of Lakes," our workshop is home to master craftsmen (Karigars) whose skills have been passed down through generations. From the intricate bone inlay that once adorned royal palaces, to the heavy solid sheesham wood carvings built to last a lifetime, every piece we create tells a story of patience, precision, and passion.

The Karigars

Our artisans are the heart of AlvoraCrafts. We work directly with over 40 skilled families in Rajasthan, ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and the continuous practice of their specialized arts. We don't believe in mass production. When you order from us, your piece is handcrafted specifically for you over the course of 3 to 6 weeks.

Sustainable Craftsmanship

We source our wood—primarily Indian Rosewood (Sheesham) and Mango wood—from sustainably managed plantations. Our bone inlay is strictly sourced from ethically procured camel bone, a byproduct that ensures no animals are harmed for our craft.
